About the game

An entry in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series, released alongside the Nintendo Switch in March 2017 and also on Wii U. Link awakens from a 100-year slumber and freely explores the vast land of Hyrule to confront Calamity Ganon. It features puzzles and combat that use physics and chemistry, along with shrines scattered everywhere. It won countless Game of the Year awards that year.

Why we recommend it

The game that first showed the joy of solving problems your own way, with no set path, in a free Hyrule where you can climb every mountain you see.

Good for — Great for: anyone who'd rather find their own way than follow a set path
