About the game

You begin your adventure by choosing one of eight travelers, each with a different backstory, and meet the rest of your companions along the way. Breaking enemies' defenses by hitting their weaknesses ('Break') and spending stored power ('Boost') are the core of combat. This entry adds a system that switches between day and night.

Why we recommend it

Its 'HD-2D' graphics, mixing pixel art and 3D, are beautiful, and choosing among eight heroes' stories feels fresh.

Good for — Great for: anyone who loves classic JRPG feel and beautiful pixel-art graphics
