About the game
A 2D Metroidvania action game where you explore the depths of Hallownest, a fallen kingdom of bugs. The more new abilities you gain, the more places you can reach, and the hand-drawn-style art and music create a melancholy atmosphere. Boss fights are tough, but beating them after learning their patterns is hugely rewarding. The sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong, was also released in 2025.
