About the game
A roguelike rhythm game made by Brace Yourself Games. Moving to the beat of Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack makes your actions most effective, while missing the beat puts you at a disadvantage. Each enemy has its own rhythm pattern, so learning them is key, and you can also load your own music or play with a dance pad. It launched on PC in April 2015 and was later ported to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Why we recommend it
A genre-blending classic that adds the rule 'you must move to the beat' to a dungeon-crawling roguelike, creating a completely new kind of tension.
Good for — Great for: anyone who loves both roguelike dungeon crawling and rhythm games
